The Wine List

July 29, 2010

Here is what's coming up:

BBQ and Blues

On Saturday, July 31st, Danny Daniels will be here to play some music as we have a BBQ and just hang out together. The festivities will be held in Pioneer park from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. The more people who come the more fun it will be! Join us and bring as many friends as you want! For questions contact Larry through the BVC office: 259-VINE

Summer of Service

As we wrap up our Summer of Service with the kids in The Great Adventure, we will be serving our community on Sunday, August 1st. The kids will be picking up garbage around the neighborhood. We'd love the kids to wear their Beatitudes t-shirt so that we can easily recognize our groups. All of the kids will be accompanied by adults and will have gloves. If any of the parents would like to join us, please feel free. We will get started at 10:00 a.m. and wrap things up back at the church with water balloon games and some refreshments. This will conclude our summer program for the kids. The remaining Sunday's in August, we will provide some color sheets for the kids as they get to hang out with their families in church. We'll gear back up the first week of September. If you would like to be involved at all with The Great Adventure this fall, please contact Rhonda or Tes through the BVC office at 259-VINE. We are always in need of help with our kids and would love to plug you in wherever you feel God leading. Our kid's program would not be, and won't be, possible without the body working together to guide, instruct and love these precious kids.

The Beaten Path

Just a reminder guys! Come on out for a few days of backpacking! We will head out on the Beaten Path trail next Wednesday, August 4th and return Saturday, August 7th. We'll hike 26 miles for four full days starting at Cooke City and ending at East Rosebud Lake. Contact Damon Andrews through the Church office: 259-VINE

BVC's 3rd Annual Worship Event

If you want to become a better worshipper, grow as a worship leader, or just want to get to know more people from this area, come join us for our 3rd Annual Worship Event from August 19th-21st! An Evening of Worship

In conjunction with our worship conference, we are also having an Evening of Worship on Friday the 20th at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Garfield Building gymnasium, located at 3212 1st Ave South. John Barnett will present a short teaching on a Theology of Worship which will precede the worship time. All are welcome to come! If you have any questions contact Jay at the BVC office: 259-VINE.
