1 Corinthians

As Paul finishes his first letter to the Corinthians, he touches on several issues such as the offering for Jerusalem, his future visit, the welcoming of Timothy, and the mentioning of several other brothers and sisters. He concludes the letter, tying it all back to doing everything in love.

What is our hope of resurrection exactly? And what should our response be to that hope during our earthly lives?

There is no independent spirit of tongues or prophecy or any other spiritual gift. They all originate from the Holy Spirit. Tongues is used for the benefit of non-believers. Prophecy is used for the benefit of believers.
