Ministry: the spiritual work or service of a group of Christians
Join in for a night of experiencing God in practical, tangible ways. Our intent is to create a space where God has full reign to meet His people as He desires. No hype, just expectancy and surrender.
We know that when we slow down and dedicate time to being with God in prayer and worship, God doesn't disappoint. Our Creator wants to heal the sick, break bondage, bring joy to stories of pain and give hope. We say yes, please.
Mark the calendar and find a ride. Bring anyone you wish; all are welcome. Children are encouraged to engage in this event as part of the community; there will not be childcare (instead, church, let's care for each child with us by modeling ministry and worship).
Are you newer to the Vineyard Church community? This complimentary catered lunch is for you. Join us on our lower level after the worship service on Sunday, January 12th.
We'd love to tell you a bit of our story, introduce a few ministry leaders, and give some time for you to ask any questions you'd like to ask. Kids are welcome.
Beginning 3/22/20 at 10am
We are about to take a deeper look at this man. In this sermon and blog series, Allen will chronicle what he can of his life, particularly the radical change he underwent. When he died he was the same man he had always been, even though he had experienced a fundamental transformation inside. At the time of his execution, he had become a leader who cared deeply for the people he led. He was tender and compassionate, which came from deep personal failure. He became aware that he no longer knew what he thought he knew. He discovered that he did care what people thought of him and that he wasn’t fearless. He had to face his failures. He tried to run away, but Jesus wouldn’t let him. Jesus went after him and found him. We’ll look at this in the next few weeks.
Begins 2/26/20 Ash Wednesday
Take part in 40 Days of Forgiveness with us during this Lenten Season. Each morning there will be a reading posted on social media & emailed out for you to consider as we practice Forgiveness in a few different areas. We will ask for forgiveness from God & learn to receive forgiveness from Him. We will ask for forgiveness from others & extend forgiveness to them as well. Finally we will ask for & extend forgiveness to our community.
If you would like to be added to our email list, let us know at email@example.com. See these reading as well on www.facebook.com/billingsvineyardchurch&www.instagram.com/billingsvineyardchurch
Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then, you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
