This week at the Vineyard: Our monthly OG potluck (for members of our community aged 60+) is this Sunday, October 15th after service. Join us!

On Sunday, October 29th, we will have our annual building fund offering. We purchased our property on January 1st, 2020 for $1.1 million and have already paid down almost half that amount in under 4 years. Between now and the end of the month, please pray over how the Holy Spirit would have you participate in stewarding this resource.

It's never too early to think about our annual Thanksgiving outreach! Stay tuned for more details, but in the meantime, pray for eyes to see those in your sphere between the Sundays who would be blessed with a Thanksgiving feast.

As we walk through the parables in our Abide series, we are seeing that relationship can be a metric for our proximity to Jesus and our ability to faithfully abide in Him. As we interact with God and people, seeking forgiveness requires a posture of humility. We briefly explore the parable of the sinner and the Pharisee at the Temple found in Luke 18. Who are we in this story? What actions do we want to justify, and how might Jesus meet us in our current posture?

Finally, as we continue to hear news about the conflict in Israel, we pray for peace and for all who would perpetrate evil and, instead, that God would incline their hearts toward reconciliation.
