We believe children are precious to God, a present blessing, and the future leaders of the church. We strive to create an environment that encourages children to know God, love Him wholeheartedly, and serve Him faithfully as an integral part of the Body of Christ. We facilitate this growth in The Great Adventure, our child discipleship path.
Sunday's in The Great Adventure
Each Sunday, children participate in worship and age-appropriate opportunities designed to help them grow in their faith and engage in the life of the church.
Check-in is located just off our main lobby. After checking in, children stay with their parents or guardians for the first part of our worship service.
Just before the sermon, children in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade are dismissed to meet their teachers and head downstairs to their classrooms.
Children in 4th and 5th Grade remain in the service with their parents or guardians and receive sermon activity pages designed to help them follow along and engage with the teaching.
After service, parents and guardians can pick up children from their classrooms downstairs.

What We're Learning
Our Preschool and Elementary classrooms use God’s Kids, a Christ-centered curriculum from RightNow Kids.
Each week, kids explore Scripture through Bible teaching, videos, discussion, and activities designed to help them know God, understand His story, and discover what it looks like to follow Jesus.
God’s Kids focuses on three foundational truths: God’s Story is true and trustworthy, God’s Character is good and reliable, and God’s Family is our family in Christ.
Continue the Adventure at Home
What happens on Sunday doesn’t have to stay on Sunday.
Through the RightNow Kids app, parents can continue engaging with what their kids are learning throughout the week. Families can revisit the weekly lesson video, use simple conversation prompts, practice the memory verse, watch worship videos, and find other ways to keep the conversation going at home.
The RightNow Kids app is available at no additional cost to families at BVC through our God’s Kids subscription.
