INBREAKING: ADVENT 2021

As we prepare to welcome the incarnation of Jesus by celebrating his birth, we are walking through the four weeks of Advent to discuss the hope, peace, love and joy of the inbreaking of our Savior.

The New Advent

December 26, 2021

We have concluded Advent 2021 and are in the new Advent: awaiting the coming of Jesus. Though it can be so hard to see the world hurting, we await Christ's return in a time of power, redemption, love and victory. God is with us and has given us the gifts of the Holy Spirit and testimony to share with others. Adam Greenwell discusses how these gifts give us purpose and presence.

Love

Love coming against selfishness is the inbreaking of the Kingdom. Love is everything in Creation working together as designed for the good of the whole. Adam brings us the fourth and final Advent message before the celebration of the birth of Jesus and asks the question: how do we love God and love others as Jesus asks of us in Matthew 22?

Hope

November 28, 2021

Adam Greenwell begins our Advent series with a message of hope. Hope involves confident expectations that God is active in the lives of His followers. We can expect God to care enough about us and our circumstances to break in and meet us there. This is hope. Chaos is stilled by the inbreaking of our Savior.
