Week 7: “The King Is Coming”
Scripture: Zechariah 9:9–10 | Luke 19:35–42 | Revelation 19:11–16

Starting Line: The same King who rode a donkey into Jerusalem will ride a white horse from heaven. He came once in humility to save... and He will come again in glory to reign. Between those two comings, we live awake, faithful, and ready.

Questions for the Ride Home

  • What does it look like to wait well? Not just for answers, but for His return?
  • Where am I tempted to build my own kingdom instead of trusting His?
  • How can I live this week as if His reign is already real... because it is?

Time Between the Sundays: Live It
Live like citizens of the coming kingdom! Look for small ways to make His reign visible through mercy instead of judgment, humility instead of pride, and forgiveness instead of retaliation. Let your waiting be active: serve someone quietly, pray for someone patiently, love someone courageously!
Advent is not just about remembering that He came, it’s about letting Him transform our lives because He’s coming again!

Prayer Prompt: King Jesus, teach us to live awake, to wait with joy, and to trust Your timing. Reign in our hearts today as surely as You will reign over all creation. Until that day, come, Lord Jesus. Amen.
