Small groups are exactly what they sound like: small gatherings that help us get to know each other and learn to look like Christ together. This is where we grow. This is where we become known. Small groups are the greatest catalyst for living a life with Christ at the center.

You're invited.

FALL GROUPS GUIDE

OCTOBER - DECEMBER 2021

HEROIC LEADERSHIP

Wednesdays @ 6:30pm
10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 11/24, 12/8, 12/22

Led by Larry Severa
Location: Vineyard Church

All of us are leaders. Phil Strout, our current National Director, and Chris Lowney believe that the West is experiencing a leadership vacuum. Thankfully, they offer us hope for change through this course that presents a radically different way of understanding leadership; different from the vast majority of models espoused in the West today. This group will watch videos by Phil Strout, then gather to discuss them together. Recommended book: Heroic Leadership: Best Practices from a 450-Year-Old Company That Changed the World by Chris Lowney. Loyola Press; Reprint edition (January 1, 2005).

EXODUS

Wednesdays @ 7pm

Led by Brad Hudson
Location: Vineyard Church

Bring your Bible to this study of Exodus, an Old Testament book that affords us many insights into our personal growth in God's Kingdom by the Spirit. We also gain insight into the ways of God as He forges the identity of a people designed to reflect His glory. The goal of this study is to help you gain understanding of the Lord in holiness, community, spiritual warfare, and future hope.

A CLOSER LOOK AT ROMANS

Tuesdays @ 6pm

Led by Tara Sinkler
Location: Vineyard Church

We will be studying chapters 9-16 of Romans over 8 weeks. This will be an opportunity for group discussion both in what we see upon reading the book ourselves as well as what has been preached on Sundays. The goal is to help us dig deeper and grasp even further God's message for us in the book of Romans as a complement to the sermon series. (Utilizing N.T. Wright’s Bible Study Guide.)

MEN'S DISCUSSION GROUP

Wednesdays @ 12pm

Led by Richard Opp
Location: Vineyard Church

This is a talk-and-chew, so bring your favorite lunch. Topics will include: staying in the grace lane, our identity in Christ, living out of our position in Christ, and walking in the Spirit.  All these will be integrated into discussions of putting into practice the most recent sermons from pastor Adam. "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God."  -Colossians 3:3

UNWRAP YOUR GIFT

Sundays @ 2-4pm
10/10, 10/17, and 10/24

This group will discover how EACH gift is valuable to the body. For this class we'll focus on the grouping of gifts found in Romans 12:6-8 (but touch on other scriptural groupings as well.) THE ART OF EVANGELISM

Every other Tuesday 6:30-8pm
10/12 through 12/7

Led by Adam Greenwell
Location: Vineyard Church

The Great Commission of Matthew 28 that gives the church its mission begins with the direction to go and tell, but telling others about Jesus can be intimidating and messy. We will work together to clear common hurdles to sharing our faith and practice partnering with the Holy Spirit in sharing the greatest story ever told with those in our lives that need to hear it.
