Not Your Ordinary Giving Campaign - Week 8

2 corinthians dont quit endure giving abilities giving campaign giving love giving time hardship misunderstanding pressure rejection serving in the tension suffering tension Aug 25, 2025

We’re journeying through 2 Corinthians together for the next 10 weeks!
We’re turning the typical giving campaign on its head: this isn’t about money. Instead, it’s an invitation to offer our time, abilities, and care to serve one another and our wider community.

Let’s grow together in faith, generosity, and mission as we open our hearts to what God wants to do in us and through us.

Each week, you’ll receive a Scripture passage, a short devotional thought, reflection questions for prayer, and a space to consider your personal response—especially through our church's Giving Campaign.

Week 8: Serving in the Tension

Read: 2 Corinthians 6:3–7:16 NLT

Devotional: Suffering, pressure, and tension aren’t reasons to quit but reasons to press into service. Paul endured hardship, misunderstanding, and rejection, and used these as trail markers of a life lived like Jesus.

Pray and Reflect: Where is it hardest to stay faithful in service to God and others? What has God been teaching me through difficulty, pain, and tension?

Live It: Stay the course! First, refuse to quit. Next, encourage someone who is enduring pressure. Offer prayer and support to help see them through.
