Vineyard Church | Weekly Update July 26, 2023

This week at the Vineyard: Central to our mission is God's heart for kids. We are well into our school supply drive. Families can be nominated on our website to receive school supplies in Jesus' name. Soon, the families will be available for us to select and shop for.

On August 20th, after service, there will be a meeting of volunteers and folks interested in volunteering with Great Adventure, our kids' ministry. We will be launching a new app that will keep parents in the know about what's going on in our Sunday school, as well as giving tips about how we can guide our kids between the Sundays. Adam is jumping into kids' ministry now, once a month helping train and teach our kids about the love of God. Will you join him?

Next up in our Summer of Heroes are Barak and Samson. We will explore their stories on Sunday. In the meantime, remember that faith is a product of participation. Do we ask God to participate in our will, or do we ask to participate in God's will? It can be difficult to feel the love of God, as we tend to think about what we don't have, and that blinds us to what we do have. Take a moment this week to think about all the people God has placed in your life out of His great love for you. Pray for them and let them know you're grateful for them.
