This week at the Vineyard: We continue our launch into fall! Coffee and Christ, our adult Sunday school, launches on September 10th. Vineyard Youth launches on September 13th, and OG (our 60+ community) launches on September 17th.

With fall come small groups. Registration is live on www.billingsvineyard.org! One of the small groups this fall is the Alpha course, a small group launching on September 20th that builds community and deals with big questions about God and faith. Who do you know between the Sundays who may be asking questions about faith and how they can join God's story? Invite them to Alpha! If you'd like to help out with Alpha, email Adam.

Last Sunday, we kicked off our Abide series with a look at the new wine and old wineskins parable in Mark 4. When we think of the new wine as Jesus' love for us and others but we simply try to overlay it onto the old wineskins of our lives, resentment is the product of those burst wineskins that result. The sacrifice of Jesus is our example of how to live in new wineskins. We got what we don't deserve, and now we get to offer that same grace to others.
