HEROES | Jacob & Joseph

The breaking of covenants can make it hard to trust others. This relational chaos, brokenness and fragmentation affect our ability to trust God. Fortunately, we don't achieve faith through effort. Faith grows out of a right, ordered relationship with God. Our next heroes of the faith, Jacob and Joseph, are included in Hebrews 11 because after lives of scoundrelness and getting the short end of the stick, their paradigms shifted. They went from asking God to participate in their lives to choosing to place God at the center of their order and participate in His reconciliation.
