Vineyard Church | Weekly Update August 30, 2023

This week at the Vineyard: We pray for Florida and our Convoy of Hope partners who are already in action, serving those who will be affected by Hurricane Idalia.

We are kicking off fall with a bang! This Sunday, September 3rd is Sammich Sunday. Coffee and Christ, our adult Sunday school, launches on September 10th. Vineyard Youth launches on September 13th, and OG (our 60+ community) launches on September 17th.

With fall come small groups. On September 20th, we will launch the Alpha course, a small group that builds community and deals with big questions about God and faith. Who do you know between the Sundays who may be asking questions about faith and how they can join God's story? Invite them to Alpha, and we will do what we see the Father doing and show them some love.

To wrap up our Summer of Heroes, we look back over our journey through Hebrews 11 and remember that God will do what God has done. We can have faith in that. When it comes to interpersonal relationships, we can trust that people will not always do what they have done if they have entered into the process of sanctification and becoming more like God.
