Happy Wednesday, Vineyard Fam!

Last Sunday, we uncovered a powerful truth from 2 Corinthians 3–4: When we behold Jesus, we become like Him. We become radiant—not because we’ve finally cleaned ourselves up, but because His Spirit is at work in us. With unveiled faces and open hearts, even muddy puddles can reflect light!

But transformation doesn’t stop there.

This week, we’re moving into the next part of Paul’s letter, where he gets real about what it means to carry that glory in everyday life:

“We have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.”
(2 Corinthians 4:7)

Honestly, I feel more like a cracked pot (not to be confused with a crackpot!) than a radiant light some days. And those cracks can feel like failure—like they somehow make me unworthy… especially the ones I’ve caused myself.

Maybe your weakness, weariness, or wounds feel closer to the surface than you’d like. I know those feelings well. But here’s the good news:

God didn’t make a mistake when He gave us His Spirit.
The cracks aren’t disqualifying—
They’re how the light gets through.

So, as we prepare to explore the next section of 2 Corinthians, take 5–10 minutes this week to reflect:

  • Where am I feeling weak or broken right now?

  • What might God want to do through that—not just in spite of it?

  • Who around me needs to see light shining through a crack?

I can't wait to see you this Sunday as we continue our series!

Come as you are—cracks and all.
God’s glory shines through jars of clay.

With you on the journey,
