Last Sunday, we were reminded that following Jesus is personal, but it was never meant to be lived alone.
As Paul opened his letter to the Philippians, we saw a church whose lives had become woven together because of Christ. They belonged to Him, prayed for one another, and trusted that God was still faithfully at work among them.
As we continue our series, A Season of Formation: Living as the Church Together, Paul invites us to take another step.
He’s still writing from prison.
His circumstances haven’t changed.
But neither has his confidence in Christ.
This Sunday, we’ll turn to Philippians 1:12–26 and one of Paul’s most well-known declarations:
“For to me, to live is Christ...”
Those words invite us to wrestle with a simple but life-shaping question:
What does it look like to live for Christ?
As you go through your week, return to that question often. In ordinary moments and difficult ones alike, ask, “Jesus, what does it look like to live for You here?”
Our prayer is that, as we continue through Philippians, we would become people whose lives are centered on Christ in every season.
Stay churchy this week by asking, “What does it look like to live for Christ today?”
We look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday.
